You know you do it, there's that one drink that never seems to get counted, the drink that no one talks about: The Shower Drink. In one way or another many of us do it. Before we start to get ready we pour a little hooch. Maybe just to take a sip before we shower, or to have it waiting for us when we get out, but there is always that drink we like to have while getting ready. It helps set the mood and get us ready mentally. Yet it never seems to make the count.
At the end of the night, if you aren't feeling well you ALWAYS forget that one drink you had before you left. "That must have been it." It was never the 6 cocktails you had out, but that one before you left may have started you too early.
I am here in defense of the Shower Drink. Don't blame him for your inebriation, thank him for his help. This drink is the starter for any great night, it warmed you up, unwound your back, and made seeing "so and so" all the more bearable.
Drink responsibility. Drink while you dress.
